The Wizard of OZ

Nun ist es ofiziell:
Ende Oktober wird Sister Act aus London verschwinden und als Nachfolger wird Anfangs 2011
"The Wizard of OZ" Premiere feiern.

Ich muss ehrlich sagen das ich nicht weiss ob ich mich nun freuen soll oder nicht!

wieso verschwindet sister act?
ich dachte es wäre so erfolgreich......
ihr müsst mich mal aufklären wegen der story.... is das so eine art wicked??? also the wizard of oz?

the wizard of oz ist der zauberer von oz. noch nie von gehört? wicked soll so ähnlich wie die vorgeschichte dazu sein. kannst dir ja einfach mal den film angucken, falls es dich interessiert. auf youtube gibt's die originalfassung. (also the wizard of oz, is natürlich englisch)

ja das weiß ich wohl ;) aber ob das sozusagen dann di vortsetzung sein solll, weil ja wie du auch schon sagtest wicked die vorgeschichte ist

ja, da läuft wohl regelmässig eine Castingshow in UK auf BBC mit Andrew Lloyd Webber in der Jury (?), hatte man mir neulich jedenfalls so erzählt. Ich find's ganz spannend und würde es mir wohl anschauen. Habe aber erst nochmal Love nerver dies und Chicago im September gebucht :-)

indirekt schon, aber es ist jetzt nicht direkt als fortsetzung für wicked gedacht. das basiert halt auf dem buch.

was wirklich schade is das sa dann weg is, wenn es doch gut läuft. komisch.

Ich hab irgendwo gelesen, dass sie schon ein neues Theater in London für Sister Act suchen. Sie müssen wohl das Palladium "räumen", weil es den Produzenten von The Wizard of Oz gehört... muss ich nochmal nach suchen

SISTER ACT CLOSING DATE ANNOUNCED

The current West End run of Sister Act will finish at the London Palladium on Saturday 30 October 2010. Plans are already underway to find a replacement home for the show in London and a UK touring production is also being planned.

Numerous productions of the hit musical comedy are being planned to launch around the world in the next few years, including a much anticipated production in New York in the spring of 2011. Producers Whoopi Goldberg and Stage Entertainment are delighted to announce that following the huge success of the West End production, there will be multiple new productions stretching from North America, across Europe to the Far East. A German production will open in Hamburg in December and will be followed by the New York opening, with productions scheduled for further cities.

Ich glaube einfach das die Aufgrund des Erfolgs von Wicked,
"The Wizard of OZ" nur auf die Bühne bringen weil sie sich das grosse Geld erhoffen...
